Mustang Technologies

Can I import duplicate calendar names?
Yes, but you first must have a default project
            defined in Primavera P6.

If I was using v1.0.0.3 and want to upgrade to
v1.0.0.5 (or later), what should I do?
First, uninstall v1.0.0.3 using Add/Remove Programs
under Windows Control menu.  Next, delete the
XENA database in SQL Server.  In future versions
of XENA, XENA will automatically update the
database but automatic update is not available in
v1.0.0.5.  Download the latest XENA.Zip file
available on the XENA webpage.  Next, run
the Setup.EXE file in the XENA.Zip file.
In the XENA.Zip file, there is also a Readme.Txt
            file with additional information.

Does XENA run under Microsoft Vista?
Yes. But you may need to turn off User Account Control.

What is the default user name and password to run
the demo?
The default user name is "admin" and the default password
              is
"admin".

During installation, I encountered an error – “Value
does not fall within the expected range”.  What do I
do?
Click the “Details” button on the error message and review the
destination folders.  If the path contains an ampersand (“&”), this
will cause the error.  You will need to rename this folder name and
remove the ampersand.  If you have questions, call Mustang
        Technologies at (920) 227-8662.

During installation, I encountered an error – Unable
to read Configuration File.  What do I do?
XENA uses a SQL database.  With the installation package, a XENA
database was provided.  Before running the setup.EXE file, attach
the XENA database within SQL Server.  Instructions are in the XENA
User Manual which is available on the XENA webpage (and also
        included in the installation package).

Refer to the user manual for the proper format for the Connection
String.  If you have any questions, c
all Mustang Technologies
        at (920) 227-8662.

The installation process is a little tricky due to the SQL Server
database but once the connection is made, XENA runs very well.

Explain XENA’s pricing structure.

XENA is tiered pricing.  First, determine the total number of licenses
needed by your company.  Next, go to the “Place Order” webpage
and click the “Buy Now” button under XENA.  Next, ALWAYS add
a line item with a quantity of “1” for the First License.  Next, determine
the number of licenses at Tier 2 (“Licenses 2 – 10”) – then add a line
item with the correct quantity for Tier 2.  Below are a few examples.

Example 1:  For 1 license, add a line item with a quantity of 1 for the
First License – total order amount is $1,199.00.

Example 2:  For 4 licenses, add a line item with a quantity of 1 for the
First License.  Then add another line item with a quantity of 3 at $799.00
each – total order amount is $3,596.00.

Example 3:  For 10 licenses, add a line item with a quantity of 1 for the
First License.  Then add another line item with a quantity of 9 at $799.00
each – total order amount is $8,390.00.

Example 4:  For 11 licenses, add a line item with a quantity of 1 for the
First License.  Then add another line item with a quantity of 9 at $799.00
each.  Then add another line items with a quantity of 1 at $599 each – total
         order amount is $8,989.00.

Example 5:  For 20 licenses, add a line item with a quantity of 1 for the
First License.  Then add another line item with a quantity of 9 at $799.00
each.  Then add another line item with a quantity of 10 at $599 each – total
         order amount is $14,380.00.

This pricing includes the first year's maintenance fee of $100 per license
for a maintenance agreement.  With a maintenance agreement, the user
will receive free updates and support.  After the first year, the user can
continue receiving free updates and support by buying a maintenance
agreement for $100 per license.  If the user discontinues the maintenance
agreement, the user can continue to use XENA but will not receive
updates or support.  To restore a discontinued maintenance agreement,
the user would need to re-purchase the software at the current list price.

If you have questions or need assistance, please email us at
Paul@MustangTechnologies.com with the number of license you wish to
order and we will provide an example.
